It reminds me of a description I recently read for a theatre production scheduled for April 25 - May 18th by Renaissance Theaterworks in Milwaukee.
The description says it "...probes our carb-counting, extreme makover nation by asking the tough question, HAS OUR RELENTLESS PURSUIT OF BEAUTY TURNED US INTO AN UGLIER SPECIES?"
I'm not familiar with the play, titled "Fat Pig"; but I intend to see it.
